L.A’s Talon Majors is a woman that, like most of us, walks alongside ghosts. It’s a path we all share in some capacity, learning to either silence or befriend them as a means of growth and eventual peace. After spending years attempting the former, she has finally decided to embrace her past by creating music that will hopefully help others confront their own ghosts in return. Premiering her debut single “Fake Friends”, she coyly dances around witty yet charming lyrics, confronting her fear of not knowing what’s real and letting go of all that isn’t.

Aslyn and Kalen Nash met in 2008 and married in 2011, but were so busy with their own projects they hadn’t really considered making music together. Eventually, the loneliness of the road led them to consider a different path. “I remember a phone call when I was out with Kesha and Kalen was on tour with Ponderosa,” recalls Aslyn. “We were a country apart and hadn’t seen each other in months. I told him that we needed to start collaborating so, at the very least, we could see each other more often.” DEGA, will release their new single, “Already Know (Slow Version),” on November 15, via Lemonade. Today, they have shared a new video for the track.

“Mountain” is taken from Van Plating’s debut, self-titled LP, which will be self-released on November 15th. It’s a song that has Rachel Plating duetting with her writing partner Bradley Walden, as they explore the nature of a committed love – and that includes the hardships that can occur, and that require a mutuality to overcome.

Durham, NC (by way of Michigan) flatpicking guitarist and songwriter Alan Barnosky expertly crafts Americana songs that detail the life of a modern troubadour. His critically acclaimed debut Old Freight, which was noted as being “a fantastic album, full of clever guitar work, excellent vocal performances, and punchy arrangements“ put him on the map as an artist to watch. Since its release he’s been a festival and showcase regular, appearing at the 2018 IBMA Songwriter Showcase, receiving an honorable mention at the Telluride Troubadour Contest, showcasing at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance conference, and opening for genre mainstays The Steel Wheels, Robbie Fulks, and Charley Crockett. In addition to his work as a solo artist, he has performed with bands at the IBMA World of Bluegrass, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, and Bristol Rhythm and Roots.
