Northern Transmissions Premieres DEGA’s newly revamped single, “Already Know (Slower Version)”
Aslyn and Kalen Nash met in 2008 and married in 2011, but were so busy with their own projects they hadn’t really considered making music together. Eventually, the loneliness of the road led them to consider a different path. “I remember a phone call when I was out with Kesha and Kalen was on tour with Ponderosa,” recalls Aslyn. “We were a country apart and hadn’t seen each other in months. I told him that we needed to start collaborating so, at the very least, we could see each other more often.” DEGA, will release their new single, “Already Know (Slow Version),” on November 15, via Lemonade. Today, they have shared a new video for the track.

Norwegian experimental pop artist Hanne Hukkelberg, will release her new full-length Birthmark, on August 16th via Hukkelberg Music. Ahead of the album’s release, Hukkelberg has shared a taste of the album, with the melodic and sweet-sounding “Faith.”
LOUIZA shares new single at Northern Transmissions
San Francisco multi/artist Rebecca Mimiaga AKA: LOUIZA, will release her new album Swim At Night on April 5th. The full-length was produced by James Riotto, known for his work with The Mountain Goats, tUnE-yArDs, and Ezra Furman at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone Studios in Oakland, (St. Vincent, Spoon, The Mountain Goats). Ahead of the album’s release, LOUIZA, has shared the new single “Brilhante.” A song which we are throughly enjoying, and reminds us of tUnE-yArDs, with a bit of M.I.A. and Joni Mitchell thrown in, for a fine combination.
